A Beautiful Birthday

The weekend after I returned from DC, we headed to Ponca City to celebrate Kyle's Dad's birthday. Everyone was able to be there and the weather was beautiful. That made for a pretty wonderful day.

To add to the fun, Conner had a big announcement to make. His shirt said #1 brother! That's right...Ben and Jerilyn are expecting a little one in April! I can't wait to see Conner with his sibling. There is no doubt he'll make a great big brother!

 Aren't they the cutest!

The city installed new playground equipment behind Jerry and Patti's house. Conner couldn't wait to show me, so we played for a bit while we waited on everyone to get there.

 Best buds.

Ella was a little sleepy from the drive, but it didn't take her long to warm up to everyone.

Then the real fun started when Brad and Tasha showed up with the bunnies!

The boys loved feeding them. Conner, especially. His little bunny ate his weight in weeds that day!

Ella tried to get in on the action, but she wasn't quite gentle enough.

Then it was back to the playground so the kids (and Kyle!) could work out some energy.

Henry and Brad had a little too much fun on the spinning chair. He had trouble staying upright after this, but he loved it!

There is no such thing as getting a normal picture on the first take in the Fox household. I wonder who those boys take after? :)

 Now everyone is behaving.

I can't even! How did we luck out with such a looker!

All that excitement wore him out.

Henry didn't want anyone but Aunt Tasha to sit by him. They have so much fun together.

And, of course, Papa had to get in one last bear hug before we all headed home.

As we get older, we are becoming more and more grateful for the time we have with our parents. We appreciate everything they have done to provide for us and show us an incredible amount of love. Happy birthday, Papa Fox! You definitely deserve to be celebrated.
