A union and a reunion

Earlier this month was the Williams family reunion. We used to get together with my Grandma Taylor's side of the family every year around Christmas time. I still remember gathering at the Crescent VFW for what seemed like an eternity while my Mom and Dad talked and talked. I think one year they even made us kids put on a Christmas pageant for them. It was pretty much torture.

As time went on, life got hectic and we didn't see each other as often. For the last couple of years, though, we moved the reunion to the summer, and I've been able to go. It's totally different as an adult, and it's fun to watch the kids of the next generation playing together and having a good time.

Ethan and Elijah just celebrated their birthdays and they brought these big bouncy balls, which the kids had a GREAT time with.

We got together at the Baptist church in Tuttle and there was a big gym for the kids to play in. It was the perfect place for them to run out all of their energy!

 Sweet Quinnie!

Trying to be just like her big brother.

After the reunion, we stopped by Tyrus and Lisa's so I could meet Olivia for the first time. She was a precious little angle while we were there, just sleeping away. She did open her eyes for a little bit, but it was short-lived. Tyrus said he always used to think people were lying when they said their babies were the cutest things they'd ever seen, but, to his amazement, Olivia really is. It was pretty sweet to see how that little girl already has him wrapped around her finger. :) I can't wait until she's old enough to run around with Quinn and Asher. It will be fun to see them all playing together.
