Opening Day

It was a busy week last week and we were expecting Greg and Stacie to come down for the fist OSU game. Kyle got season tickets from his dealership and naturally, he called Greg to see if there were any games he'd like to attend. So much for checking with the wife first... I guess it's my own fault for not really liking sports that much.

Anyway, we cleaned the house on Friday night and then on Saturday found out that Greg and Stacie wouldn't be coming after all. We were sad not to see them, but I was excited to get to go to the game and to have a long weekend that didn't involve housework! Those are definitely rare around here!

We had a great time at the game, except for the fact that it was HOT. I think at one point they said it was 125 in the stadium, and I would believe it. We were sweating like crazy! It definitely made we wish for fall. According to Kyle, the team looked pretty good, although it's hard not to with a score of 84-0. Go Pokes!

Other than the game, we pretty much relaxed all weekend. We did go out to eat a few times, hung some pictures and did a little shopping for our dining room so it wasn't a total loss. I miss weekends like this and am definitely thankful for this one. Plus, that means this week is a short one!  Woo hoo!
