Brad's Visit and Conner's Dedication

The past couple of months there has been a lot going on in the Fox family. I love this because it means we are making an effort to get together more frequently, which is so much fun! Kyle's brother, Brad, is in the military and is spending a year overseas. This is his second deployment and we were so glad to hear that he was going to be able to come home for a few weeks in September. It was a short trip, but while he was here, the whole family got together at Grandma and Grandpa Fox's house. This visit was Brad's first opportunity to meet Conner. Here are a few of the photos.

Brad and Conner

Greg surprised us with a new haircut. He'd just gotten back from a biker trip, Can you tell?

No one can make Conner smile like Papa! He got a little too excited, though, and ended up peeing on poor Stacie. That's good training for her!

Somehow Kyle ended up with a rabbit on his head. You never know what's going to happen when you're with the Foxes!

Nana and Conner

Aunt Linda's new "puppy" Duke. He's awful big for a puppy if you ask me!

It just so happens that Ben is also being deployed. It will be hard on the family to have both of them gone at the same time, but I am thankful that there are people willing to serve our county in such a wonderful way. Because Ben will be leaving soon, they wanted to have Conner dedicated this past Sunday. Kyle and I were glad to have an excuse to spend the day in Ponca. Although Conner was a little fussy when they handed him to the preacher, he did a great job being the center of attention. He's really getting used to that! :) Here are a few pictures from this weekend and some photos and a video of Conner from the past few months.

Here he is all ready for his dedication. What a cute outfit!

He was sporting OSU later that afternoon. We make quite the pair. He LOVED my scarf.

The boys relaxing before a game of golf.

Conner was initiated with his first girls day in September. He's quite the ladies man!

What a proud momma!

I love that Conner can smile and coo now! Here is a cute video Jerilyn sent me a while ago:
