Asher's TMNT Birthday
The weekend after I got back from Memphis, we went to Hennessey to celebrate birthdays. Dad's 57th and Asher's 6th. We went down on Saturday night so we'd be able to enjoy the day on Sunday. It turned out to be beautiful. Kyle went golfing Sunday morning while Oliver and I walked over to the Wards and played until it was time to get ready for lunch. Ty and Lisa were there, so we had fun passing around Olivia in between naps.
Before we knew it, it was time to head over to Josh and Stacy's for the party. So many things have changed in the past six years. Asher has traded out farm animals and Bubble Guppies for Ninja Turtles and Mixels (tiny Legos). He sure is growing up. I realized just how much when we were in DC. He did so good entertaining his sister, buckling himself in every time we got ready to go, putting Mixels together all on his own, doing HOMEWORK and proudly announcing to us all that he could now take the big kid allergy medicine since he was six.
I'm not sure I'm ready for his baby/toddler/preschool days to be over, but it sure is fun to watch him grow into a little man right in front of our eyes. Happy birthday, Asher! We look forward to seeing all the new interests you'll master this year.
The trampoline was a safe spot with Oliver in the back yard.
Quinn had a BLAST chasing her brother!
Dad had plenty of help blowing out his birthday candles.
And then it was time to adore little Olivia.
Asher tried and tried to get her to roll over, but she wouldn't budge. Mom said she's a pro at it now!

Josh made the cake again this year and we paired that with some adorable pizza sugar cookies made by Cheryl. Oh how I admire their creative talents!
More trampoline time since it was such a beautiful day.
Quinnie and her Uncle Kyle.
It was a turtle party with plenty of turtle presents!
This Super Secret Sewer Hideout may have been his favorite!
